About Me
I live and work in Lexington, KY. My work explores the intersection of the natural world, memory, and emotion—where dream and reality sit side by side. I photograph in places where time, weather, and wildness are the dominant forces, offering a quiet reminder that we are not separate from the natural world, but of it—deeply connected to something older, enduring, and elemental. In addition to my freelance practice, I am is a part-time instructor at the University of Kentucky. I also teach community darkroom classes through UK's Fine Arts Institute.
I received a BA First Class Honours in Photography from Hereford College of Arts in 2010 and an MFA in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales, Newport in 2013. My work has been exhibited in internationally and nationally, including the Cincinnati FotoFOCUS Biennial, the Louisville Photo Biennial, Ffotogallery (Wales, UK), the Hereford Photography Festival(UK), and Institute 193 in Lexington, KY. My work has been featured on vice.com, noisey.com, the Oxford American’s Eyes on the South, RawFile, NRC Handelsblad, and Finn Magazine.
