About Me
Carey Neal Gough lives and works in Lexington, KY. She received a BA First Class Honours in Photography from Hereford College of Arts in 2010 and an MFA in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales, Newport in 2013. She is a part-time instructor at the University of Kentucky. She also teaches community darkroom classes through the Fine Arts Institute. Her work has been exhibited in both the United States and the United Kingdom, including the Hereford Photography Festival, Cincinnati FotoFOCUS Biennial, and Institute 193 in Lexington, KY. She has been featured on vice.com, noisey.com, the Oxford American’s Eyes on the South, RawFile, NRC Handelsblad, and Finn Magazine.
